circa 1904, with blued ovoid 2 1/4in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'LONDON', crescent fore-sight, the left side of frame marked 'WEBLEYS No.2 .320 CF' and the 'winged bullet' trademark, top-strap with central sighting groove and signed 'COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD, 226 STRAND & 146 NEW BOND ST.', solid frame with crane-mounted swing-out ejector rod, blued and fluted five-shot cylinder, double action mechanism, chequered walnut grips, iron shallow domed butt-cap and guarded trigger, strong traces of finish, in a period suede-leather purse pouch (worn)
